Be sure to have an Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) working for you before contacting any builder or developer. You ABR will help you negotiate the best deal possible for you and will help with many aspects of purchasing a new construction home. The ABR works on your behalf and best of all, in most cases, is paid by the seller (builder/developer). So this means you can have professional representation through the negotiation and purchase process and there is typically no cost to you for this service.
